Clancy's of Athy

Clancys of Athy is one of the few traditional pubs left in Ireland. Home of an annual Trad Session, TradAthy, as well as a nice pint of Guinness, Clancy’s provides a traditional bar for a quiet drink, a lively snug for music sessions (seisiún ceoil) and the large Back Bar for hosting parties.

Pixelcode designed the original Clancy’s website in 2008 and we were approached to redesign the site in early 2011. The website forms the hub of Clancy’s online presence, along with social networks such as Facebook and Google+, so as well as change the aesthetics of the design, we reorganised a lot of the site architecture to reflect this.

Design and build of website, using valid Web Standards. Integration with social networks, most notably Facebook Comments on the homepage.
