2009 - A Year in Review
We formed Pixelcode early in 2009 and in the last year we have grown so much. Our aim is to provide a complete design, development and support service for all of your website-related needs. Please allow us to draw your attention to some highlights of the last year and a brief outline of our services.
Highlights of 2009 include:
- The creation of over ten new sites as well as sites we’ve revamped
- We launched local business directory, AthyDirectory.com and we currently have over 250 businesses listed.
- We held an information night for local businesses in October.
- We launched the online toy shop, theNest.ie using our own custom eCommerce system.
- We redesigned Pixelcode.ie, twice.
Design
Our main focus is on standards-compliant web design. We design, not just with an eye to the current trends, but also using rock-solid design principles.
In the last year we designed:
- Multiple colour schemes and layouts for websites that like to occasionally change their look.
- iPhone websites.
- Online advertising campaigns.
- Illustration-based interfaces.
- The odd logo and some branding.
Development
We create websites that allow you, the website owner, control your content. We’ve enabled website owners to do the following:
- Update every ounce of content on their website
- Create date-organised news and events
- Upload, organise and display their photographs
- Keep visitors informed of updates through content feeds and social networks.
